Tim Bram Tribute Thinline Archtop Metallic Blue

Tim Bram is a respected archtop luthier based in Maryland. Tim has developed an archtop design that combines the best qualities of both a traditional fully hollow, carved-top archtop and small body thinline "ES style" guitar.

The lower bout of this guitar is only 14.5 inches, but it sounds big, both unplugged and amplified. For the latter purpose, the guitar is equipped with a Vintage Vibe Guitars pickup, custom made for Tim Bram by Pete Biltoft. The body somewhat resembles a Tele, as do the six-in-a-row tuners, hence the name "Tribute Archtop" in tribute to the Tele.

Acoustically, this Tribute Archtop is open and rich-sounding with complex highs, beautifully balanced mids and a nice punchy low end. Both acoustically and plugged in, this guitar can cover an enormous amount of musical ground with just its single pickup and the volume and tone controls mounted under the ebony pickguard. All in all, this is a masterful hand built guitar; with a unique design and a perfect setup.
