About This Listing

Man what a tele.. Light and wildly resonant body that rings out like a piano.. Fat and chewy pickups that maintain upper end clarity and note separation while cleaning up incredibly well with a roll off of the volume. I've owned a handful of Saito's and they just do not disappoint. To me, they are the TA's of Japan. Incredibly well designed and better executed than just about any builder churning out guitars today, and for the price there is literally nothing I've had my hands on that I'd consider even close. They're $2,200 guitars that play, feel and sound like $5,000 guitars.

I am selling it for the original owner who is a friend of mine, and he MIGHT have put an hour on the guitar. It still smells new! I've listed it as "Excellent" to be above any critique!

The model we have just received is the S-622TLC, a TL type body in the S series with the ultimate in simplicity.
The specs are ash body and maple fretboard. The quick response and bouncy sound are attractive, and it is a popular combination with excellent sound throughput.
The most important feature of this model is its unique looks.
This one is painted in "White Phoenix", a custom color ordered by us! This color has a unique presence unique to SAITO.
It is a beautiful and refreshing gradation of white to light blue, and has a completely different beauty from the monochromatic trans-color.
The gradation of the two colors is not the only thing that is painted on the surface, and although it is difficult to see in the photo, the paint is unevenly applied like a lap paint.
The painting is done by hand, so no two patterns are exactly alike!
The logo color is a gold line, and blue is used for the border line between the fingerboard and neck, which is usually used for rosewood color.
This is just a fashionable one-point, but this kind of effort creates a special feeling.
The color is sprayed only on the top of the body, and the sides and back are painted natural.
The beautiful grain of the ash wood can be fully appreciated.
The natural finish is often applied even to alder wood, which is a sign of confidence in the quality of the wood itself.
We use high quality wood that you will actually fall in love with, and we purchase only lightweight, high-grade materials from lumber dealers.
The finish is wonderful, with the rustic warmth of the wood.

The arch top is rare for a TL type, and the experience in arch top manufacturing from the early days of guitar making is utilized.
The purpose of this is to reduce weight, and in fact, the S series is often finished in a lightweight manner.
The burst color is in line with the arch top, giving the coloring more depth.
The coating is an ultra-thin, matte urethane, so thin that even the unevenness of the wood grain can be felt.
The urethane finish is much thinner than polyester and also has elasticity, making it durable while maximizing the sound.
The first string side of the fingerboard extends toward the head for fun. This is a spec that cannot be found anywhere else, but it also contributes to the strength of the neck.
The neck and fingerboard are made of maple, which is laminated with different wood cuts, resulting in a more complex harmonic structure compared to a one-piece maple neck.
This gives the neck a deeper sound, and the neck itself is stronger due to the different wood grain.
In addition, the fingerboard is shaped and glued in a special, company-secret way, resulting in a very strong and stable neck.
A strong neck is directly related to response and sound, so it is also very superior in this respect.
The side positions are equipped with Luminlay markings for easy visibility.
This time, we ordered it with position marks.
The normal specification without position marks is simple and beautiful, but the black pearloid shining look was the right choice!

Pickups are synonymous with SAITO GUITARS.
The SAYTONE pickups, hand-wired pickups made in-house, are installed. While there are many mass-produced pickups today with improved mechanical technology, the SAYTONE pickups are hand-wired pickups.
The hand-wound manufacturing method, which goes back to the basics, produces the best tone for guitars.
This model is equipped with "TLC" for TL type, which gives it a slightly hotter flavor.
It works well with drive sounds, and any sound creation from clean to overdrive will come through clearly.

When you actually play it, you will be intoxicated by its beautiful tone that is both practical and pleasantly resonant.
Various manufacturers claim to "maximize the sound of the wood" or "the true sound of the wood".
The vibrations are so wonderful that it makes you think that these words are for SAITO GUITARS.
Even with a set of high-output pickups, the sound is simple and delicate, and when played with sparkling arpeggios, it is simply superb.
The beautiful, yet powerful tone makes it a great companion for all guitarists.
