I am offering a Guild 60th Anniversary F-30K from 2013, a limited edition of 60 pieces, handmade at the custom shop of the fine acoustic guitar forge Guild in New Hartford, Connecticut (USA) steel-string acoustic guitar model with a handy Grand Orchestra design, spectacularly flamed back, sides and top made of solid "AAAAA" Hawaiian koa, walnut-reinforced mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard bound in rosewood/MOP bindings with elaborate mother-of-pearl/abalone inlays incl. a Custom 60th Anniv. Inlay at the XIIth fret, Waverly Gold tuners with rosewood buttons, abalone rosette and top bindings as well as an professionally upgraded L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup system in a hand-polished high-gloss natural nitro finish in absolute collector's condition including the original brown Guild Custom hardshell case, certificate (C.o.A.) and professional setup with 11-gauge Elixir strings.

This F-30K is a special Custom Shop model from 2013, strictly limited to 60 instruments to celebrate Guild's 60th anniversary, and was handmade in the legendary workshops in New Hartford, USA. The guitar combines exquisite woods of the highest quality with loving craftsmanship and pretty much EVERY high-end feature you could dream of. Guild itself has established itself as one of the most popular US Western guitar makers over the past decades and this particular Grand Orchestra model quickly makes it clear why.

The guitar comes with back, sides and top made from hand-selected "AAAAA" Hawaiian koa (!), which complement the walnut-reinforced mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard on top perfectly. The guitar thus offers a rich acoustic sound with outstanding transparency that covers the entire sound frequency spectrum: powerful basses are combined with crystal-clear trebles rich in overtones and a very present mid-range for that - typically koa - extra warmth in the sound. The sound is ideal for picking and fingerstyle of all kinds, but strummers will also get their money's worth. It's an instrument you can spend hours, weeks, even years with without longing for anything else. Truly an instrument you can grow old with! ;)

A sound sample of the model can be found at the end of the photo gallery.

Live, a professionally installed L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup delivers an authentic, clear sound.

Visually, it is one of the most beautiful guitars I have ever held in my hands: the attention to detail in the workmanship is heart-warming and the numerous ornaments made of abalone, mother-of-pearl and the finest precious woods create a dreamlike appearance.
