I purchased this from Eastwood/Airline "My Rare Guitars" website listed as part of the founder and CEO Michael Robinson's "Personal Collection" . This is an updated version of the 1960's era Coral Hornet. I listed it as made in China, but I'm not sure, it might be Korea. It's a nicely balanced offset, heavy but comfortable, a very smooth playing neck, and bright lipstick pickups. The tremolo is a little stiff for me, but functional. There were not many of these made, and it definitely came from Michael Robinson's basement because when I got it in 2021 the strings were rusty and it was dusty. I contacted Michael about the knobs and switching system and he couldn't remember how exactly it's setup. I'm not sure I have really figured it out either, but I suspect one of the knobs in maybe 2 of the 5 switching positions could be a "blend" knob. Like all Eastwood/Airline revisionist models made by the delightfully obsessed Mr. Robinson, this is a solidly made and fun instrument. When photographing it for this listing, I noticed a scratch on the back of the neck visible in 2 of the rear-view photos. That's why it's listed as "Very Good" instead of "Excellent" or even "Mint" Like all of my numerous guitars, it has never left my daylight basement.
