Sweet Mahogany Archtop Jazz Guitar Baby! *Upgraded* Washburn HB15CTSK HB Series Hollowbody
Washburn HB-15 all mahogany ply body. This otherwise lovely, resonant jazzbox came with some truly awful electronics and a cheap pickguard. Fair enough! So I changed em all up! Installed a Seymour Duncan Sentient pickup, (a heavy metal neck Humbucker with some parallels to their jazz pu). It’s stuck on there with Velcro in case you want to switch it up for something else. All new cloth wiring, Sprague orange drop tone capacitor (.033 uf). No route cut into the archtop, so you get the full sound of a floating pickup. Handmade multi-ply mint/tortoise pickguard, sturdy and handsome. Comes with excellent hardshell case and - bonus - a brand new pack of flatwound strings!
