Peavey Falcon Custom, made in the USA in 1987. Rosewood fretboard, and a matching headstock. Very nicely built quality guitar, it feels great and sounds nice too. These Peavey pickups sound great, nice clean sound, and they really sound good when pushed a bit.
These guitars originally came with a Kahler 2520 locking trem, but this one has been outfitted with a more standard Strat style trem. No mods were needed for this, but the original Kahler and the locking nut have disappeared at some point over the last 25 years. The truss rod cover is also missing.
The tuners have been swapped for a set of Guyker Locking Tuners, that so the job pretty well actually.
Condition wise, the body has a bunch of cosmetic wear. A few large finish chips near the bottom edges of the guitar and one on each horn (these are basically not visible while playing). A couple other small nicks here and there, some pick scratching and other light scratches and cosmetic signs of use and age. The back of the body has a bunch of buckle rash and other light marks and swirls, and the cover plate has two cracked corners.
The neck feels great, there are two small dings on it, near the 15th fret and the 3rd fret, but they aren't really noticeable at all while playing. A couple small nicks on the edges of the headstock as well.
The frets are good as is, plenty of fret life left. There is some fretwear on the first few frets, but it is playing just fine as it is.
A padded gigbag is included with the guitar.
