1950’s vintage Gibson Les Paul brown case. All four original latches work. Case Lid appears flat but has been pushed down slightly. The outside is in good condition for its age with some loose covering and some small covering missing and scuffs plus imperfections from use Except for The bottom of the case is darker from posibly mold way back and the lid back has sepaeration at the back which could easily be glued back. (Please study all picture). The inside is in fair condition but has discoloration And impressions from over the many decades. All latches work and case seem structurally sound with some easy glue work done on the bottom lip mostly. It still has the original Gibson brass logo And storage compartment still intact! free to ask any questions or for more picture As case is sold as is. Thanks for looking!

Lifton Manufacturing Company began making cases from instruments in 1920. By the '50s many of Gibson's guitars shipped with Lifton cases which used fine leather and plush pink or orange interior lining. As the '59 Les Paul Standard is one of the most valuable guitars on the market, the Lifton case built for this guitar ranks as the most valuable case.
