Guitar maker Chris Forshage is maybe better known for his more avant-garde models, but this all-handmade Strat-style Meso plays like butter and sounds amazing. Features a unique three-saddle bridge that functions as a standard Strat tremolo, which of course could be locked down for a hardtail set-up. Loaded with Lollar Special S pickups. The neck is a soft C, approximately .85 (1st fret) to .85 (12th fret), so on the skinnier side. The nut width is 1 5/8” and the radius is 12”. Overall weight about 7.5 lbs
Does not have original case, but it’ll ship in a soft gig bag (pictured) and be packed extremely well.
Forshage guitars pop up now and then—a Tele style is for sale on Guitar Center’s site for $1200 and Austin Guitar House occasionally sells them new and used. So grab this while you can.
