One of the coolest basses I've ever owned but just not playing bass enough to merit hanging on to it :/
Late 70s Guild B-302 as used by The Cure and Interpol. These pickups sound out of this world - like some huge doomy piano or a Fender Jazz bass at the end of the world. They are single coils, loud as hell, dead quiet, tons of grit and growl, high end articulation and low end boom.
This bass has been well-loved and shows dings and dents and ghosts of stickers on the back. Missing the truss rod cover and the original pickguard has been repaired (great repair, though). Missing a couple of knobs and I stuck a couple of washers under some of the saddles on the bridge to set it up better. A fantastic feeling, great playing, incredible sounding vintage bass with one-of-a-kind looks. Ships in it's original Guild-branded Cookie Monster fur hard case.
