1977 Gibson "The Gibson Master Model" F-5 Mandolin. This example has a rare figured maple body and neck that is absolutely stunning with a vibrant flame that is sure to turn some heads. New old stock and in very good condition with moderate finish checking in places from age with minor crumbling of the binding in a few places but nothing that affects the structural integrity. Comes set up with comfortable low action and sounds incredible with a charming and rich tone and impressive projection for a bright and focused sound! This instrument came from our recently acquired "Kalamazoo Collection." We acquired the collection from a married couple that worked at the original factory from the late 50s until the factory closed in June of 1984.
