The used Moon "RM-DX-134" has arrived.
The model we have received this time is the "REGGAE MASTER," which debuted in 1981. Initially, it was released as a single-pickup model, but later, the RM-DX was released as a two-pickup version. Due to various circumstances, the single-pickup model is now called RM-DX, and the two-pickup model is known as RM-DXII. The unit we have received this time is the "RM-DX-134," a model of the Reggae Master from the late 1980s to early 1990s, judging by the shape of the pickguard and the installed pickups.
The differences from the current model include adjusting the truss rod from the neck end, no contouring on the body back, and a metal nut. It is equipped with two Moon original P-90 soap bar type pickups, with a selector toggle switch set in the upper left corner, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and a warm yet tight sound.
Condition: Professionally cleaned and set up with new strings (D'Addario).
No problem with the electric systems. Neck is straight and the truss rod works with no issues. Frets remain over 80 percent.
It has signs of use such as scratches and dents.
Comes with a gig bag (the pocket part is missing)
