Custom Shop 1964 Jazz Bass with relic finish
Alder body, quarter-sawn maple neck, and round-laminated rosewood fingerboard. You can experience the vintage-like Fender sound that is just as it looks, with a rich sound and a pleasant middle component that does not betray the image unique to the alder body. The weather check and rust on the parts give it a realistic feel that it has aged over time, and the thinness of the paint gives it a suitably mature and open sound. The pickup has been replaced with Freedom Custom Guitar Research's 'FPU-JB02', which has a reputation as a replacement part, and outputs a clear, thick and dry sound with rich overtones.
As this piece was originally aged, there is no damage to the exterior, and the truss rod has plenty of room and the neck is in good condition. As you play and develop it in the future, the sound will change into something more flavorful.
Weight4.13kg
Genuine hard case, certificate, bridge cover, pickup fence (both mounting screws missing) included
