This late 70s Fender Vibrosonic Reverb Combo Amp is a ROAD WARRIOR and is gig ready! It comes with a fresh set of power tubes; phase inverter; and filter caps. The pre-amps tubes are mostly original American tubes and sound wonderful. All controls have been cleaned and lubricated and work smoothly. It is in EXCELLENT electronic condition.
This is not a collector's amp. The tolex has honest playing wear and is rough in spots but the amp is in very presentable, good condition.
This 135 watt Fender workhorse sports its original, highly coveted, orange basket JBL D130F speaker, which sounds amazing. These amplifiers are sought after by Pedal Steel, Lap Steel and country players for their loud, clear, bell-like tones. The amp is a great platform for outboard pedals and this enables the amp to cover a very wide variety of styles. The onboard reverb and "vibrato" are working beautifully and the footswitch is included as are casters and a cover.
These amps were upgraded by Fender to have a Master Volume control; recording or pa support output; output tube matching adjustment and hum balance adjustment.
This loud, reliable, great sounding amp has served me well over the years and deserves the opportunity to be your gig companion!
