Hi all. I have a basically brand new Monarch. It's an incredible amp with a warm tone and fantastic resonance and spring reverb. "This is a 15-watt amp, but it's plenty loud to play over a band and also gets that great natural overdrive at a level where a sound guy can put a microphone in front of it and you're not sacrificing tone for volume."

I got it with the thought that I'd play it exclusively but it's been sitting around mostly for the last few months because I don't have the time to dedicate to playing like I would like. My loss is your gain. The Benson amps are all they are advertised to be. If you're looking at one, you know exactly what I mean.

  • 2 x JJ 6V6 power tubes, 2 x JJ 12AX7 preamp tubes, 5AR4 rectifier
  • 12-15 watts (depending on rectifier)
  • Point to point construction on terminal strips - no circuit, eyelet or turret board
  • Dovetailed pine speaker cabinets
  • Mercury Magnetics transformers

Hit me up with any questions! I'm pretty firm on the price so I will just turn down low-ball offers. Only trades I'd entertain would be HIGH END acoustic guitars (Preferably Gibson).

Thanks so much!
