This is an extremely rare Selmer Mark VI alto saxophone with a 5-digit serial number (6xxxx) that was originally silver plated. It is in mint condition, with the original European engraving still sharp and crisp. The horn is in excellent shape, nearly mint, with no dents, resolders, neck pull down, or any significant history of damage. All the pads seal perfectly, making it gig-ready. When played, this saxophone produces a fat and warm timbre that is truly remarkable. The silver plating adds richness and complexity to the horn's overtones, creating a fantastic vintage vibe.
