1976 Guild D-55 Acoustic Guitar - Big Tone -Plays Great!

VINTAGE 1976 GUILD D-55 NATURAL ACOUSTIC GUITAR

Overall this is a solid and sturdy power-house Guild guitar! No denying that..

Plays great and sounds phenomenal as this is Guild’s Flagship model, D55.

Solid Spruce top. Solid Rosewood Back and Sides. Optimally wood braced inside. 25 1/2" scale length and joins the body at the fourteenth fret.

Medium size profile Mahogany neck is a comfortable great C-shape profile, bound Ebony fretboard with beautiful pearl and abalone V-block inlays

1 11/16" wide at the nut. Original frets in excellent condition showing only light wear. Neck is straight and set-up with proper relief.

Lots of checking in the finish. Has had bridge re-glue and complete excellent re-fret, and fretboard leveled. Neck angle is very kgood, and it doesn’t need a neck re-set. Has minor small cracks around the sound hole, the rosette is cracked in a few places…all pictured to the best of my ability.

Includes Gator hard-shell case. This guitar has been played, and has some bumps and scratches.….but is solid and repaired and ready to go, and my gosh look at that rosewood!!!!

The main beauty of this guitar is the substantial and robust tone and loudness, and how well it plays.. properly up and down the neck
