90s Guild Dearmond Jetstar Electric Guitar
Man, I love this guitar! The finish is incredible, it seems to change color depending on where you are standing in the room. The neck is wide and flat like an early 60s Gibson, really comfortable if you have bigger hands. And the pickups just sound out of this world good. In recording situations, this has beat out Les Paul after Les Paul. Also, any jerk can play a Les Paul - do you have what it takes to rock a purple beast like this?
This Jetstar is a replica of the Guild Thunderbird from the 1960's, and is fitted as standard with USA made Dearmond pickups
The pickups give a vintage sound, great for blues and classic rock, sound just as good clean and overdriven. *This is the closest I've ever heard to PAF tones out of something other than a PAF.*
These were made in Korea in the 90s, really a golden age of Korean guitars. As far as bang for the buck goes, I think it's really hard to top a late 90s Korean guitar. These were built to a particularly high standard as replicas of Guild guitars from the 1960's & 70's. These Jet Stars have been discontinued for quite a while and have become quite sought after. Grab this one while you can - you may not see another in this finish!
There are a couple of little knicks on the upper bout but this is remarkably clean, incredibly fast and low action, ready to hit the stage. Comes in an Epiphone hard case.
