About This Listing

Up for sale is a 2005 Ibanez JEM 7V electric guitar. Made in Japan (MIJ) with Team J Craft branding.

-Alder body

-Five-piece Maple/Walnut neck

-Rosewood fretboard

-DiMarzio Evolution pickups, HSH configuration

-Edge Pro bridge

Very good to excellent condition with a clean fretboard and like-new frets. It has just a few small issues worth noting, which are highlighted in the photos.

1. The gold hardware has tarnished due to age. This is mostly cosmetic, and not too noticeable, but the low E-string saddle could use a good cleaning/polishing since it occasionally sticks when the fine tuner is adjusted.

2. There is a chip/ding on the headstock, just below the Ibanez logo. This is 100% cosmetic and does not affect the integrity of the headstock wood.

3. There are a few other cosmetic scratches. One on the back of the body by the neck joint, and two on the side of the fretboard by the first fret dot marker.

Overall, a very clean guitar, and MIJ JEMs are getting harder to find. I am selling because the neck profile is simply too thin for my playing style.

Buyer should expect to adjust the action and intonation as they are not set up.

You will receive the following items and nothing else.

1. The guitar.

2. Hardshell case.

3. Whammy bar.

4. A bag of pickguard screws. (The original tarnished screws were replaced with shiny new screws, but are included.)

5. One package of Ernie Ball Slinkies (Gauge 9-42).
