Model: This is a rare Takamine model, (F-310) and a ‘Lawsuit Model’ due to it being a copy of a Martin guitar.
F-310 is stamped into the back bracing on the inside.
The date of manufacture (Mar 25,1977) is ink-stamped on the top bracing around the sound-hole.
Cosmetic Condition: Typical play-wear for a half century-old guitar - a few nicks and dings and scratches in the finish. Zero bellying. Wood Is strong and all joints and bindings are seamless keeping this guitar very resonant.
Neck: Semi-chunky mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays.
Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Chrome sealed tuners are in perf working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod nut looks untouched.
Sound: sound is very warm and surprisingly rich for a guitar body of this volume.
