Here's a rare Kalamazoo KEH - only made by Gibson in 1939 and 1940 before the design changed. Pretty hard to find these days, especially in nice condition like this one.
The serial number is 10397. The speaker has the code 8J11 B. It has the original cone that has been repaired and sounds okay.
The pics of the amp show it before and after the repair. The volume control was scratchy and was replaced with an Allen Bradley. Several caps were replaced. The power cable was mostly gone, so it was replaced with a 3 prong grounded cable. The original pot and caps are included as pictured, along with a copy of the schematic for future reference.
Interesting that input 1 is straight through with no volume control. Input 2 has the volume control function.
The original handle is long gone, replaced a long time ago. I do not recommend carrying amps by these old leather handles, even if they are intact.
These are very cool little bits of history that are also fun and playable. This one has been serviced and is priced to sell.
Thanks for looking!
