Grill Cloth and Diamond finish is in unmarred. The physical facade has been kept in great condition partially because of the soft padded amp cover. The only thing that could use a spit shine is the control plate.
The sonic character and capabilities of this amp are top notch. I used it mainly as my main gigging amp for blues gigs. The tremolo and reverb, which turn on and off with the foot pedal, are truly spectacular on oveedriven guitar or harmonica. I loved bringing this amp to the edge of feedback and using the tremolo to oscillate the frequencies.
I took this amp to the talented technicians at HeyDay music in Asheville NC, and have included their bill of health, along with some extra tubes. The service was performed at the end of January, this year.
