This is a loud, punchy dreadnought. It has the kind of tone I’ve experienced other Guilds — kind of open and bright with some good smooth bass ends. I don’t know if thats an accurate description, but it’s my best take.


It does have some signs to show its age, though it is a beautiful guitar. It has spiderweb cracks in the finish (shown in pictures) and one area where the finish was worn through by a previous owner. There are also some various dings here and there as you’d expect of a 40 year old guitar.

Here is a YouTube video of me playing it. It's not the best recording, so take that with a grain of salt, but I wanted to share what I could of the tone. I am also a pretty clumsy player.
