The Pepper series has a lineup of four types of hollow body structures, and you can enjoy sound variations created by the differences in internal structure and the top and back materials of the body. Green Pepper uses a middle-position center block structure that prevents the center block from coming into close contact with the top and back materials, and uses beautiful heathered zebra wood for the top and back materials on the mahogany body. The neck is made of mahogany and the finger plates are made of rosewood. By using a wood that produces a sweeter tone than mahogany for the top and back, we have achieved a thick, mellow sound with good sustain.

The neck shape is Pepper's original shape, and if you compare it to a Fender, it has a thick and firm grip like a 50's Telecaster. The thicker the neck, the thicker the core of the sound, so you can get a powerful sound typical of a tele. The frets are equipped with original stainless steel frets SP-SF-06WARM. The frets are about the same size as the frets on a Gibson Les Paul, and are a little wider. WARN improves the hard sound of conventional stainless steel frets. We are conscious of the vintage tone while taking advantage of the advantages of stainless steel, which does not rust or scrape.

The pickup is equipped with "Pepper SPTE" on the rear and "Hybrid Humbucker Type I" on the front. The response is a little delayed compared to the ash body tele, but its spaciousness is very comfortable. Since the front is a humbucker, it is also great for clean to crunch jazz and blues approaches. This tone is recommended for those who like a slightly loose groove with a not too fast cutting response. Due to the characteristics of Green Pepper's body structure, I think it feels more full than a normal semi-acoustic structure, but since it has a center block, the sound is separated properly when distorted strongly, making it a powerful solid guitar. This is a unique model that allows you to enjoy different tones.

The front Hybrid Humbucker allows coil tap by pulling up the tone pot. The Hybrid Humbucker's characteristic blending function from hum to single is equipped with a trimmer on the tone pot inside the cavity, allowing you to adjust the tone from humbucker to single coil, or to the intermediate P-90. The current trimmer adjustment is focused on single coils, so you can use it just like a normal coil tap.
