Like new guitar from a unique company of our neighbor in Canada. This is all solid woods of Spruce and solid Sapele for back and sides. It got the usual finish peeling at some of the glue joints being a bit older instrument. A while back, this small company got bought from its competitor, Gibson, and for some reason shut it down. What is interesting about this guitar is its single unit bracing system, it is made out of composite glass fiber. It sounds very warm and, being a single brace, it is very resonant due to its uninterrupted path through the guitar, no loose braces to repair I might add. Another special this guitar has is " The Buzz Feiten Tuning System™" . It is a tempered tuning formula, which uses a compensated nut and saddle to correct the inherent intonation problems of the Western tuning formula. This tuning system moves the strings closer to the first fret to eliminate sharp notes at the first three frets. Come try this hard to get collector item with all its interesting features. Got a new setup with cleaned and oiled fingerboard, polished frets, lowered action for EZ playing on the fingers, and new Martin MA540 light '12 strings.
