Sitka top, beautiful Mahogany back and sides, flamed maple binding
This guitar is Loud and Proud. It rings more like a Rosewood guitar rather than mahogany. Maybe because of the way it's voiced. Definitely not a bad thing, a bluegrass picker/strummer for sure.
There is a top seam split that was professionally repaired by a Martin Luthier, well before I got it. Hasn't moved since. A few frets replaced on the upper fretboard, and some lacquer cracking on the headstock. This guitar has an LR Baggs M1 installed.
