About This Listing

For sale today is a vintage late 60's, early 70's Apollo Viola guitar. This features two humbucker style pickups, a volume, tone, 3 switches for pickup combo's and TONS of mojo. The guitar has seen some humidity changes and because of that there are finish checks running around the body of this guitar. They are not structural and do not affect the playability of the guitar. A couple of the tuners have been changed, and there will be a need for fret work in the next few years also as the frets are worn but still playable.

The abalone headstock inlay is a neat touch. The guitar is surprisingly balanced when worn on a strap and the electronics sound great. They sound similar to old Hofner pickups. The switches and pots work as they should. Please let us know if you have any questions on this unique old guitar and we will do our best to help. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
