Masaaki AO-410 Neck-Through Guitar Late 70's, early 80's
Made in Japan Matsumoko
A guitar solid as a Rock!
Only very slight signs of use and a very small superficial mark on the paint, hidden between the neck and a cutaway... The paint covers the guitar here too, the wood is not uncovered
She is around 45 years old and completely original, just the bridge replaced because it is no longer usable. Keys for set up are provided.
The frets are like new!
The Pick ups are said to be Japanese copies of the Di Marzio Super Distortion, probably Maxon They actually have 3 ceramic magnets But Gibson 500T are also made like this. So I would say that they are simply Pick ups made in Japan
Perfect guitar in every way, clean, polished and with new D'addario 0.9,42 nickel wound strings. Ready to play.
It has 2 tones and 2 volumes and you can split them in a standard way. But In dual humbucker mode The volume of one or the other Pick-up cuts the frequencies after 70% of the volume: Probably according to the Japanese it became too loud?!
It has capacitors the size of beans! All four Potentiometers are 500k with wide tracks and the wiring is all original, Welded like the first day in the factory.
On the headstock there is a small sticker of a little rose that is easily removable, but in my opinion it is beautiful like this
A Proel gigbag as a gift
