About This Listing

Up for sale is my VERY Rare Vintage 2000 Epiphone Les Paul Deluxe made in South Korea in the Beautiful and even Rarer Sparkle Baby Blue finish with Molded Hard Case. This was a very limited run of these Deluxe Les Pauls with the Baby Humbuckers from 1998 to 2001.

The guitar is in Like New Condition with no wear or damage at all. If the strings were new it would look like it was just pulled down from the store display in 2000. I can't find any marks on it other than a minor top coat swirl or two which would buff out with a soft cloth. It is in Absolutely Amazing condition for being for being nearly 25 years old. The frets are in perfect condition as well as this guitar saw little to no playtime. See all the close up pictures I've taken. The Nice Hard Case is in excellent Condition as well with no wear other than a few scuffs on the exterior from leaning against the wall for years.

According to the Serial Number it was built in 2000 in the Samick Factory in South Korea. Anyone who knows about these Early Epiphone guitars knows how good the ones made in Korea are. The fit and finish and fretwork is as good as guitars made anywhere. I've owned this one for at least 15 years but have never really played it other than to tune it up and make sure everything plays and works as it should. She has just been sitting in the case in my studio all these years. The guitar is absolutely stock as it came from the factory and exactly as I bought it. You don't see many of these Deluxe models around and even fewer of the Baby Blue models. And they certainly don't come up for sale often. It is truly a Unique Rare Quality Guitar and honestly Much better than some of the USA Gibson LPs they are selling lately.

I hate to sell this one and I've put it off for a long time because I just LOVE the finish and how well this one plays. It really play like butter and the action and set-up are unparalleled. For example I hadn't taken this baby out of the case for nearly 3 years when I was toying with selling it during covid but it was still in perfect tune after 3 years!!!

But sadly I have way too many guitars and need to part with a few that aren't getting played. I just don't have the room to keep them all anymore and am trying to reduce my collection.

Set Neck - 22 fret of course - With very low action and made to shred or bang out some classic rock riffs. The slim taper neck profile is VERY easy to play. The Epiphone Baby Humbuckers can really crunch and scream with gain, but also put our some amazing vintage Gibson clean tones. These have always been compared to the Firebird Pickups but they have a character all their own. They are a little brighter sounding... think a cross between a P90 and PAF with a little Single Coil chime thrown in. This guitar Plays amazingly and Sounds Great and really has great tone. Perfect for getting your 70s Classic Rock mojo on :)

It will come in the hard case shown in the pictures, and will be packed very well for the trip so it arrives it the same mint like new condition it is in.

I hope you can give her a new home with all the love and play time a Beautiful Classic Rock Guitar like this one needs :)

Cheers and thanks for looking!
