About This Listing

The finish has faded in an area of the top as shown in the photos, but it sounds exactly like it should: gorgeous Santana humbucker tone.

It’s got a Maple 10-top on a Mahogany body, but while the look isn’t quite as striking as the Santana II guitar-the Abalone Purfling on the top is gone-this doesn’t affect the tone.

The headstock is color-matched to the body and has a Rosewood overlay.

Like all the Paul Reed Smith Santana Guitars, the neck is the ubiquitous “Santana wide fat” with 10″ curvature.

The fretboard is East Indian Rosewood.

The tuning pegs are locking.

Paul Reed Smith Santana III pickups are covered.

Paul Reed Smith’s Santana III guitar has the tone and playability of the Santana II, at less than half the cost.

At this point all PRS Santana guitars have been discontinued except for the Santana Retro and SE.

Product Overview
The Paul Reed Smith Santana Signature III is similar to the original Carlos Santana Signature Model but with 3 way toggle pickup selector and an East Indian Rosewood fretboard. Unlike the original model, it has covered humbuckers and a 10" radius neck. For players seeking a slightly fatter neck, the Santana II features a 11.5" radius neck with many of the same specifications.

Additionally, this guitar is offered with a non 10-Top finish
