Dan Strain of Nashville-based Danocaster guitars has built a stellar reputation for creating highly sought after F-style relic guitars. Danocaster players like Julian Lage, Margaret Glaspy, Keith Urban, Neil Schon, Rusty Anderson, and Val McCallum speak to the caliber of Dan's work. Visually, this S-Style Guitar looks as close to a real vintage guitar as you're going to find. More importantly though, they're incredible, lightweight instruments, relic work aside. The necks are easily a highlight - the most perfectly broken-in, easy to play neck you could ask for. It's the very thing that sends many on "the search" for the perfect vintage guitar - that perfectly broken in, well-loved, well-played neck that just feels immediately comfortable. A Danocaster just skips you to the front of the line and saves you quite a bit of time and cash in the process. Resonant, alive, tons of sustain...and this is just played acoustically.
