VINTAGE 1940's Gretsch 6.5x14 Broadkaster "Rocket Lug" Economy Model 6-Lug Snare Drum in Water Dip Wood Finish
- Details & Notes: An awesome early Broadkaster from the 40's with Rocket lugs, and a thin three ply build. The drum seems to have a prototype silver sealer which may or may not be original to the drum. The drum appears to have a "water dip" veneer finish, which applies a faux burl appearance. This practice was seen on some old Leedy drums. No flange hoops w/ clips. Some pitting and patina present on the hardware. Internal muffler is present and functional but the felt pad is very worn. Badge is secure but has some movement. Slight ply separation, but nothing of concern.
