About This Listing

This model was manufactured from 1987 to 1990 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of MOON SAULT, which was introduced in 1977.
The eccentric crescent-shaped body is eye-catching, but this model is targeted at the then popular hard rock/heavy metal genre, with a built-in preamp/overdrive circuit and a Floyd Rose-licensed locking tremolo.
The pickups are Schaller 50VH, and the controls are 1 volume/1 tone, overdrive on/off switch, overdrive volume, overdrive depth, and 3-way pickup selector.
The overdrive can be turned up to a distortion-like depth by increasing the depth.
The head shape is a star shape, and the truss rod cover is shaped like a rocket launched toward the moon.
This is a very rare model, so if you are looking for one, please consider this one.

There are some minor scratches overall, some paint chips on the tip of the head and body, and some chrome peeling on the rear pickup escutcheon, but it is in good condition.
The Schaller locking pins are original specs, but the strap side parts are missing.
Each part has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is good.
