Originally offered in 1963, the Silvertone 1478 was an instant favorite. Fast forward to today, this offset ripper is a faithful homage to their classic style with some much appreciated modern craftsmanship. This reissue is the real deal!
The vibe is right with this one. Classic tortoise shell against that sexy black gloss? Yes please! This sweet reissue features a mahogany and maple body, a comfy C-profile maple neck (.823"-.980") and fast 12" rosewood fingerboard. Weighing in at a light 7.92 lbs.
The onboard Silvertone single coil pickups sound amazing! Cutting, spanky tone on the bridge (B: 5.47k) and warm, round notes on the neck position (N: 5.07k). It features stacked volume & tone controls with 3-way toggle and Bigsby tremolo. This thing sounds like a dream!
