For sale is a very nice Strat styled guitar from the workshop of the late Ed Roman, in an eye-catching gold sparkle finish. The hardware is a matching gold, which makes for a cool look. These guitars were essentially high end and hand made small shop strats.

Other than the care taken in construction, they were made of high quality components, including locking Sperzel tuners, matching gold knobs with mother of pearl caps, Seymour Duncan Mini Humbuckers, highly figured birdseye maple neck. The electronics include piezo saddles and blend (I believe Graphtech Ghost). The magnetic pickups and the piezo can be run separately, or blended together. There is also a coil tap. Many tones and versatile in use.

The guitar is in excellent shape overall, with slight fret wear and common paint cracks in the neck joint area. The rest of the guitar is quite clean, and only displays light wear, if even discernible with this finish.

Plays and sounds great, with just a touch of relief and low string height, in the neighborhood of 4/64-3/64 from bass to treble. All of course is adjustable to taste.

Ships in original Roman branded gig bag, which is a nice one with substantial padding.
