About This Listing

2007 Parker Fly Deluxe Heather Gray (P0706060)

Background:

This guitar is in mint condition.  It stays in tune forever and plays perfectly with low action, flawless stainless steel frets, a basswood and composite neck/fretboard, with an ultra light but extremely rigid poplar body.  It has 2 x DiMarzio humbucking pickups and piezo pickups with full volume/tone/blend capabilities.

The body and neck are nearly perfect in a beautiful Heather Gray metallic paint.  I can find absolutely no flaws in the paint, no dings, no dents.  The stainless steel frets are impervious to wear.  The condition must be considered a 9.9/10.

The tremolo stays in tune well but only after I lubricated the nut and bridge saddles with Music Nomad Tune-It.  I have trems with locking tuners on Fenders, PRS, and Parkers.  The only trem that stays perfectly in tune in my experience is the Floyd Rose trem because it is locked at the nut and the bridge.  None of the others are perfect.

The Sperzel locking tuners make for quick and effortless string changes.

I bought the guitar in Aug 2022 from a Reverber in Knoxville, TN who ordered it from the Parker factory.  It is a refined era guitar built in Jun 2007.  I prefer the refined over the pre-refined because they seemed to have simplified the design and made it more straightforward.  3 knobs - 1 magnetic volume, 1 magnetic/piezo tone, 1 piezo volume.2 x 3-way switches – 1 magnetic pickup select neck/both/bridge, and 1 pickup select magnetic/both/piezo. Only occasionally played at home, never gigged.

The guitar has 0.10 gauge strings currently but included is a 0.09 gauge tremolo spring for lighter strings if you prefer.  The case is the original TKL branded plastic case in mint condition.
