Killer 50 Watt "Modern Classic I" handmade by Wizard Amplification in 2012
This amp is powered by a pair of EL-34 tubes and can dole out tones from pretty crystal clean to the crunch of vintage non-MV "4-holer" Marshalls, to the kerrang, chime, punch and clarity of a great Hiwatt, to seriously high gain modern tones.
Very responsive and dynamic, with muscular tight low end - focused but not sterile, with no fizz, no mush. If you like amps that would be described as "big, tight and clear" you're in the right place. Takes pedals incredibly well also.
The amp features two channels -- a non-master clean channel with boost, and a lead channel with master (of course) and a boost. These channels share all EQ and presence controls.
The treble has a "pull" feature which shifts the tone a bit for another flavor.
Rear panel features two 1/4" footswitch jacks (no FS included) to change channel and engage boost, a line out control and jack, and two speaker jacks with a control for 4-8-16 ohms. No loop, no fuss.
This beast is in great condition with very minamal tolex wear.
A new one will set you back over $5500.
