BSG OM27F Indian Rosewood Sitka Spruce

BSG guitars are built by Jan Šťovíček in the Czech Republic, and are increasingly appreciated around the world for their very high build quality that comes close to brands like McIlroy and Lowden, but also has a hint of American character.

In the name of this particular model, '27' refers to the Indian rosewood back and sides, while the 'F' stands for 'full solid'. This means that this OM has a classic tonewood combination of solid Indian rosewood with solid Sitka spruce. It also results in a balanced and clear tone that lends itself equally well to fingerstyle and light strumming.

By combining a longer 650 mm scale with a smaller body, this OM model becomes a very responsive and easy-to-play instrument. The herringbone purfling and rosette, curly anegre binding, and snowflake fretboard inlay add some visual flair to this classic design.
