XAOC Devices Drezno II

Drezno II is the improved version of the Drezno. Accuracy and noise performance have been drastically improved. In addition, the voltage range can now be switched between 10Vpp and 20Vpp. Practical: The ranges of the potentiometers are now accurately calibrated to the chromatic scale.

The Drezno II is an 8-bit signal processor with AD and DA converter sections. The analog to digital stage translates incoming audio material or control voltages into the binary format. Results are emitted at eight gate outputs. The digital to analog stage works the other way round. Here, 8-bit data is generated based on gate voltages and subsequently converted into analog audio respectively CV material. Incoming as well as outgoing signals can be trimmed via gain and offset sliders. Thanks to the built-in clock generator's high rate of about 2 MHz, there's very little aliasing going on while the module processes audio signals. Alternatively to the internal circuit, external clock signals can be used.

Drezno's field of application is very wide. The module can be used, for instance, as a bit crusher, a pattern generator, a frequency multiplier or as a signal source, producing complex audio waves or control voltages.
