This Avalon L2 340 baritone guitar from our range is for sale here.
A baritone has to growl, especially in the lower registers. That's why the choice of wood is crucial. Wonderfully grained birdseye maple was selected for this Avalon body. This gives the guitar a clear, well-defined sound that emphasises every note precisely. Maple is also known for its good sustaine properties, which, together with the longer scale length, helps the notes to resonate longer and produce a fuller sound.
The best Adirondack spruce was used for the top, whose characteristic sound qualities, including clarity, dynamics and warmth, in combination with the maple body produce an expressive and powerful tone.
Beautiful, tasteful details such as the rosewood inlays around the body and fingerboard, the 5-piece rosette and the rosewood headstock round off the attractive appearance of this instrument.
The guitar is in almost mint condition.
The original case, which does not fit very well and is of rather inferior quality, has been replaced by an Ameritage Luxury Case.
