Made as a copy of the Gibson Flying V's sometime in the early 80's, this Hondo Deluxe Series 767 is quite the axe. It has certainly seen many playing hours, a fair amount of dings and chips, most of which I captured in the photos. There's is a large chip by the "A" tuning machine, but it doesn't affect the tuning stability. The nut is not original and has been replaced and is noticeably shimmed at the top.
The electronics are functioning and the previous owner added 2 toggles into the circuit which act as phase inverters for each humbucker, which gives this V more tonal options. The 2 humbuckers are clear and the pickup selector is smooth.
A relatively lightweight option for someone looking to get their first flying V, the guitar was bought in with its original case, but no tremolo bar. Upon ordering, the Hondo will be inspected and setup before arriving at your door.
