This Indiana based and rare Morgan Monroe M50-V is not just another fancy, frilly guitar. This thing is extremely well built and sounds amazing.
With its traditional tonewood choices of spruce (top) and East Indian rosewood (back and sides), V-shaped neck, forwardshifted X-bracing, narrow string spacing (2 1/8-inches at the saddle, and a 1 11/16-inch nut) and flashy abalone-vine fingerboard inlay, the M-50V was very clear about its intentions. This is a trad-style dreadnought cannon that will sound (and look) great in any rock, country or bluegrass band
I found this clip where a young man is reviewing his:
Morgan Monroe was well known for multiple acoustic instruments like this guitar and mandolins, etc., and in the ’70 s had some of them built in Korea. The skilled workmanship is amazing, both visually and in the produced sound. I have a custom Morgan Monroe case with built in hygrometer, and reusable humidify/dehumidify system. If you want the case, add $90
