A beautiful 1974 Greco Model EG550 Les Paul Style made in Japan Electric Guitar in original GOLD SPARKLE!!. This guitar is all original including the shown Gibson Hard Shell Case…oh, and it plays and sounds great!
This is the second Greco Gold Top we have had ...its been six years for us to find another. These are awesome guitars and looks fantastic.

The Greco Maxon Mini Humbucker Pickups sounds great on this guitar. They sound HUGE!! Most of the made in Japan les paul style guitars of this era used regular humbuckers... Its really really rare to find one of these with the Mini Humbuckers…They are very strong and musical. They have invidual pole pieces for tailoring your sound preference. This guitar even has the original Greco Star tuners...those are always missing on these guitars... Missing the pickguard but who uses a pickguard on their Les Paul? LOL. The pickguard holes are plugged. Easy to remedy if you want to add a pickguard ..... Slab body just like the Gibson guitars from the same era.
The guitar is in great playing condition but has been used. It has various small dings and such. Only superficial things... this guitar is a beautiful Player!
It just came back from our Techs and its set up great…I have it strung up with new 10's for easy play and bending. The action is nice and low…just like I like it. No sore fingers with this beauty. Nice straight neck and the truss rod works as it should. All electronics are checked out for proper service. This cool guitar is ready to ROCK!!
The Gold Sparkle finish is quite rare. Most of these are in Black or Sunburst. This is the second I had seen in the Gold Sparkle with the mini humbuckers, and its hot looking. It would look fantastic under the lights. Rock Stars out there??
Shipping with the shown Gibson Hard Shell Case. The original Greco cases are always missing. I was relieved to find this guitar with a case. The Gibson logo was blacked out by the previous owner but its in great shape. All latches, hinges and original handle are still with it. The interior is great! Even the accessory box and back restraint strap are still here. A great case for your cool Greco Goldtop!
Beautiful but its vintage and used so it's sold as is no returns. Thanks for respecting that.
