(Lowest the price will go) Very clean survivor, that just keeps jumping exponentially, in worth. The AW-100, was the top of the line Ibanez acoustic export, built from leftover Tama woods, and crew, when Ibanez acquired the company. Solid Ezomatsu Spruce top with solid Ovangkol back and sides. It plays beautifully, and has a very smooth, direct action, and pleasant response to a seasoned player. It's range of sound is supremely balanced, and will handle either light touch finger style, with excellent sustain, or you can really dig in and flat pick, or plectrum strum, in any style you could imagine, and it will be recording worthy. It's one of those instruments that make you sound better than you actually are. There is a slightly rarer AW-120, for sale for $3800, and I just imagine he will get close to that. These 100's in this good of condition, and only a couple better, have all sold for over $2000, the same day posted, in recent years, and will continue to climb, because of rarity, and just how well built they are. Especially, the 100's. The only "issues" I can spot with a very thorough looking over, is a single spot on the bottom left center of the soundboard where it will eventually crack, if not treated at some point, and I only point this out because I have had others with the same condition eventually form a crack, over years and years, of putting it off. It's super clean for the age, and would have been close to pristine, except for the buckle rash, on the back, that could easily be buffed totally out. I may end up doing so. It's ready to play, or store as an investment. You will be hard pressed to see a cleaner one, in the coming years. I took honest pictures, and have concealed nothing. Does come with a hard case. It's rough, but will protect it.
