About This Listing

Benavente / Moses Graphite Jazz Bass

An early Chris Benavente bass with a Moses Graphite neck. I love this bass but I am thinning the herd. This is one of those basses I will most likely be regretful of selling. But it sits in its case most nights. I am looking for a new home and family for this great Jazz Bass. Unfortunately, I need the room and money Make an offer

The Moses graphite neck is straight and truss rod works in both directions. Frets and fingerboard are in great shape. This bass plays very well, no buzzing even with the action set really low.

Please note the finish crack at the bottom side neck joint. I purchased the bass this way 15 years ago. The neck is stable and does not lose tune.

The RotoSound Swing Bass 66 sound as grisly as they should.  The electronics all function properly.

Weighs  9.25 lbs. and this bass has been setup well and sounds awesome.

This is a players Bass, not a closet queen. Overall it is in very good condition, but you will see some paint swirling and chipping from player and gig wear functionally this beast is all there.
