I purchased this Gibson Custom SG STD from Musician's Friend in 2013. It's not part of any year-specific reissue or VOS run, etc. I just wanted a standard, no frills, "gloss" SG but with Gibson Custom Shop build-quality. This is it. 6.6lbs. 60’s neck. Excellent condition, some red “bleed” from the neck to the binding on the neck (this occurred at the factory, didn’t bother me). Some small "pits" around the jack (tried to take a pic) from the cable. Outstanding playability and stunning tone. Comes in original hardshell case, ships in non-original box.
