Here is a pretty rare old Stella that is dated 1949 on the inside of the body. This guitar certainly looks like it has been around that long. There are all sorts of scratches, dings, and worn finish. There is a 1.5" crack on the bass side of the tailpiece. Neck is tight to the body and amazingly straight for its age. Guitar looks to be all original. A nice little project for someone. This guitar is rare and deserves to be in the hands of someone who can turn it into something really special. You will be hard pressed to find another Stella with this figure 8 body style.
