My tech believes that if it ain't broke, don't fix it. He does a burn in at full volume for a couple of hours and then I run it for a month at home.
This beauty took a beating somewhere in it's past. When it came to me, the cabinet was in 3 pieces and there was a large dent in the back (see photo of "after"). The horrible black vinyl was peeling/missing so I removed it all and pulled the metal vents out. After cleaning, drying and sanding, it got several coats of Minwax polyurethane. Rebuilt the cabinet, sanded and repainted the vents then reinstalled them. It's still not perfect, but this beast has probably seen a few parties. It sounds amazing.
PLEASE NOTE WELL: the photo of the front, the photo of the repair order AND the photo of the actual needle in the bag. My tech did not have the proper tool to resolder this. It does not affect the functionality.
