For your vintage-rockin' pleasure, we present this 1970s Gretsch Committee. It's either a 1977 or 1978. One of the coolest-looking vintage Gretsches ever made, this Committee oozes mojo. Loaded with its original Gretsch humbuckers, it's a neck-through design. Body and neck-through are made of maple and walnut, with the double cutaway design, giving you great access to all 22 frets. 24.75-inch scale over a bound rosewood fingerboard, this bad boy absolutely sings in your hand and feels GOOD. There are a few nicks and dings, the mark of 45 years of playing, which we've done our best to picture comprehensively. Overall, though, it's in very good condition. When we originally bought this Committee, the frets were absolutely toast. So we had it re-fretted by the best luthier in Salt Lake City, so it's good to go for another half century. It comes with its original Gretsch hardcase. The righthand latch of the case is broken. The case still closes securely, and the latch is in the inner compartment in the case, for those of you who are handy and know how to fix stuff.
