Wine Finish! Wide Range Humbucker!

This is really Cool. You are looking at a 2022 Fender American Vintage II 1977 Telecaster Custom Electric Guitar. The Telecaster Custom marked one of Fender's earliest forays into the use of humbucking pickups. The Tele Custom featured a 3-way toggle located on the upper bout and dual volume and tone controls mounted to a stylish, elongated pickguard. The American Vintage II 1977 Telecaster Custom reproduces the quintessential tone and feel of the original, down to every last detail!

This Guitar has never been sold before. It was used at Fender's Corporate office for Internet Sales Videos, Print Media and brochure photos. It is in "Like New" Condition. It is being sold as a used guitar.

From The Web:

The Fender American Vintage II 1977 Telecaster Custom is a meticulous reimagining of one of the company's earlier forays into humbucking pickups. The '77 Tele Custom includes a balanced-sounding solid alder body, while its year-specific Pure Vintage '77 Telecaster pickups yield everything from thick humbucker tones to jangly single-coil sounds with loads of twangy bite. You'll appreciate the effortless playability of this guitar's "C"-shaped, hard-rock maple neck and vintage-radius maple fingerboard. The American Vintage II 1977 Tele Custom is replete with period-correct appointments, including skirted plastic knobs, a 6-saddle bridge with steel barrel saddles, "F"-stamped tuning machines, a 3-bolt neck plate, and a head-turning gloss polyurethane finish on the body and neck. Owning an American Vintage II '77 Tele Custom is like owning a piece of Fender history. If you've yearned for a humbucker-equipped Tele, you'll find the American Vintage II 1977 Telecaster Custom eminently satisfying.

Loaded with period-accurate appointments

The American Vintage II 1977 Telecaster Custom is a spot-on re-creation of a Fender classic. This electric guitar features a solid alder body. This lightweight wood offers an incredibly balanced acoustic tone, yielding uniform quantities of lows, mids, and highs, and boasts a gorgeous gloss polyurethane finish. The 1977 Tele Custom's nickel/chrome hardware includes a 6-saddle bridge with slotted steel barrel saddles, "F"-stamped tuning machines, and a 3-bolt neck plate with Micro-Tilt. You also get skirted plastic control knobs with numbered indicators. Year-specific '77 Pure Vintage pickups, a period-correct neck shape, and vintage-radius fingerboard round out the American Vintage II 1977 Telecaster Custom's classic appointments.

Year-specific Pure Vintage pickups

When you plug the Fender American Vintage II 1977 Telecaster Custom into your favorite amplifier, you'll be transported straight back to '77. This solidbody electric guitar's Pure Vintage '77 Telecaster single-coil bridge pickup churns out the tight lows, balanced mids, and legendary twang you'd expect from an old-school Tele. In the neck position, you'll find a Seth Lover-designed Wide-Range humbucking pickup with large bobbins and threaded CuNiFe-rod magnets, which have been out of production since 1981. CuNiFe magnets are vital to achieving a period-accurate sound, one that can be best described as an amalgam of humbucker girth and signature Fender chime with distinctive hi-fi character. The Wide-Range humbucker also includes a chrome cover with a "3 3" exposed pole-piece design and an attention-grabbing Fender logo. The American Vintage II 1977 Tele Custom comes complete with independent volume and tone knobs for each pickup, plus a 3-position pickup toggle switch.

Effortlessly playable neck

When we first picked up the American Vintage II 1977 Telecaster Custom, we were blown away by its effortless playability. The '77 Tele Custom's "C"-shaped hard-rock maple neck vaunts Goldilocks dimensions — not too big, not too small — for an eminently comfortable playing experience. You also get a maple fingerboard with a vintage 7.25-inch radius and 21 vintage-tall frets, plus a bullet-style truss rod. The neck features a vintage tint, and it's finished with eye-catching gloss polyurethane.
