This beautiful Dallas Arbiter SOUND CITY Concord amplifier has not been used more than a dozen times in it's recently attained 50 years. It has been stored in it's original SOUND CITY dust cover and I have left the dust visible in one of the side handle photo's to show how well it has been stored. Photo's of the castor wheels show the lack of wear from little usage. I have also a copy of the original purchase receipt showing date of purchase 6th March 1974. Comes with instruction Booklet and Guarantee application form-though I'm not sure that will be redeemable! -Although the company is again trading in USA. As these don't come in this condition very often the price reflects this rarity. I have played through her and she is sweet. The original and rather unusual slider potentiometers have the original grease lubricant on the carbon tracks and are as smooth as new. There are no pops crackles or other noises from her. Everything works as new. There is some oxidation of the metal switches to be expected from her age-I have refrained from polishing or cleaning anything and I have refrained from opening her but I believe she will contain Valves that were installed at the factory. The speakers I believe may be an earlier type -They appear to have square shaped magnets. Whether Alnico or Ceramic speakers-she sounds lovely. Worldwide shipping upon request plus additional shipping cost-so I will be removing the Valves or Tubes as some call them for safe transport with them packed separately as per the Reverb instruction video and will then update the listing when I discover their type/ Brand. I'll put a You Tube Video up so you can hear it-soon. Thank You for visiting Eoin's Shop.
